Can add a [x] color option?

Please suggest it in the #suggestion channel of our discord server and we’ll consider it for future rounds.

What material options are there for plates?

Carbon Fiber is the default plate included in both kits.

Ikki68 regular edition (QMK & Hot Swap) will have an optional PVD coated brass plate offered as an add on.

Ikki68 Pro edition will not support any other material than Carbon Fiber.

Why can’t I use the brass plate on the Bluetooth PCB?

Even though it will fit, the brass (or any other metal) will interfer with Bluetooth connectivity.

Is there going to be an engraving under the USB port in the final version?

No, that engraving is only for the Chinese market. Rest of the world won’t have that engraving.

Is the bottom gold/orange part of the case brass?

No. It’s sandblasted and anodized aluminum, just like the top case. Only exception is Polaris which has E-white coating both on top and bottom case.

Can I order an extra bottom case?

No. Sorry, due to logistical issues this will not be possible this round. You have to buy an additional kit if you just want the bottom case.

What color is the big logo on the bottom case?

That’s the brass weight. It’s colored dark blue for all the keyboard color options except for Rebirth. It’s colored Gold on Rebirth.

Does it support ISO?

Unfortunately ANSI only with a standard right shift.

What layout does the keyboard support?

The keyboard supports just one layout. You can customize / re-map any of the keys.

Is there a sound test?

Yes! Please visit the Updates page. More sound tests will be added in the coming days.

Yes! Plate CAD files will be released after the group buy so you could 3D print your own plates in your material of choice, or get some metal ones machined at your local shop!

Carbon Fiber Plate: ~37g

PVD coated Brass plate: ~216g

Optional PVD coated Brass weight: ~95g

Why are you not collecting shipping fees now?

Worldwide shipping prices are currently very high thanks to Covid-19 back log. We’re hoping the shipping fees will come down when the boards are ready to ship.

We will invoice everyone for the shipping fees a week or so before they are ready to ship.

How much do you think shipping will be for Ikki68?

For one kit (~2KG), our best guess at the moment is about $40 – $60 USD to deliver internationally via DHL Express. Of course it’ll vary by country, the shipping climate and so on. Shipping fees are calculated by weight, so if you add extra PCBs and plates expect shipping costs to go up.

We’ll post more details as we know.

Ikki68 Badge

Is the badge in all the photos, the one that says “PHOENIX”, the final version of the badge?

No, it was just a place holder. This is the badge that will ship with every kit with a badge:

What is the badge made of?

PVD coated Brass.

What are the color options for the badge?

Only gold for the default barcode badge. Color options for custom badges is a possibility.

Is it going to have a shiny finish like in the prototype photos?

No, it will have a matte finish.

Will the badge sit flush with the keyboard?

No, it will be slightly raised as seen in photos.

Is there going to be a prototype of the default barcode badge?

Unfortunately due to our manufacturer’s schedule it will not be possible to get a prototype made before the end of the group buy. We are considering a 3D printed version to show you, as well as a few renders of the new barcode badge on an Ikki68.

Are you going to offer custom badges?

Yes! After the group buy, before the units ship so custom badges can ship with your keyboard.

Typewriter Case

What is the typewriter case made of?

Solid aluminum alloy.

How much does it weigh?

5.3 kilograms or 11.7 lbs!

What are the dimensions of the Typewriter Case?

444 x 222 x 45mm

What colors does it come in?

E-White or anodized grey.

Can I use it with Ikki68 Regular Edition?

Unfortunately the Typewriter Case only works with the Ikki68 Pro model that has Bluetooth. There’s no channel for a wire to feed through.

How much does it cost?

$199 + 4.5% Paypal fees + Shipping.

Why are you not collecting shipping fees now?

Worldwide shipping prices are currently very high thanks to Covid-19 back log. We’re hoping the shipping fees will come down when the boards are ready to ship.

We will invoice everyone for the shipping fees a week or so before they are ready to ship.

How much do you think shipping will be for the Typewriter Case?

Keep in mind the Typewriter Case weighs a whopping 5.3 kilograms. That’s about 11.7 lbs in Freedom Units. Shipping this via air would probably cost as much as the case itself.

That’s why we had to make some tough decisions with regards to shipping for this bad boy. We’re shipping this to USA only. If you live somewhere else, and really, really want one, contact us and we’ll see what we can do.

For USA we’re opting to ship this via cargo ships.  Once the package lands stateside UPS ground will take over.  It’ll cost approximately $40 – $50 USD and will take about 1 month + local delivery time to arrive.

Deskmat & Wuque Bears

What is the random color option for Wuque Bears?

We have six color variants that you can choose from. The cap you see on screen is the cap you will receive.

We also have another color variant, called random. If you order this, your keycap can have any random color or gradient not limited to the six default color variants. Unfortunately you cannot pick the colors, we’ll pick them for you.
